Sun Damage

Also known as sunburn or photo damage, over exposure to the sun can cause a cosmetic change in the skin's appearance called photo ageing. Sun damage can also raise health concerns such as pre-cancerous lesions and skin cancer. Among the symptoms of sun damage are:
  1. - Fine and coarse wrinkles
  2. - Rough skin
  3. - Loose skin
  4. - Mottled dark patches
  5. - Coarseness on the back of the neck
  6. - Dry and scaly skin
  7. - A yellowish-coloured skin, known as solar elastosis
  8. - Treatment
We provide a number of treatments to reverse the effects of sun damage and smoothen the skin. In addition, due to the risks of skin cancer you should have a skin examination at least once a year as a precautionary measure.
